Account Executive

The Account Executive reports to the Vice President. This position will lead clients as a strategic consultant and will serve as the key interface between Dansig, and new and existing clients and brokers in relationship to the management and administration of client accounts.

Principal Duties and Responsibilities
  • The Account Executive will drive strategy alignment and serve as the face of Dansig in relationship to daily interaction with their client base.
  • Develop and execute service strategies tailored to client needs.
  • Track and trend issues to determine common issues that require process improvement.
  • Responsible for quality assurance and assisting all departments with seamless customer support.
  • Create and maintain an annual timeline of services per each client group.
  • Resolve Client issues.

Benefits Administrative Assistant

The Benefits Administrative Assistant reports to the Vice President. This position is responsible for assisting the Reinsurance Coordinator with client renewals, including but not limited to, accessing reports, completing presentations, and any other related tasks as directed.

Responsibilities and Duties
  • Assist in preparation of renewal/new business presentations.
  • Assist Reinsurance/Benefits Coordinator(s) with the process of renewals to carriers, required paperwork and follow up on issues related to renewal process.
  • Run and distribute month end reports to appropriate parties.
  • Maintenance of specified data bases.
  • Any other duties as may be assigned.

Commercial Lines Account Manager

The Commercial Lines Account Manager reports to the AVP of Commercial Lines. This position is responsible for assisting clients and sales executives, in all aspects of customer service and marketing by managing an assigned book of business.

Scope of Interaction

Interaction with all agency associates, clients, prospective clients and insurance carrier representatives.

Responsibilities and Duties
  • Manages an assigned book of business and builds, expands, and solidifies relationships with existing clients
  • Leads appropriate resources to address the client’s risk/capital management needs
  • Assisting with Marketing of Accounts
  • Secures existing business and drives the sale of additional services and coverage levels
  • Cultivates relationships with the most senior buyer in the client organization as well as with day-to-day client representatives and buyers
  • Has retention goals for assigned group of accounts.
  • Support Broker Producers.
  • Document Agency Management system with client changes, updates and activities as performed.
  • Maintain a working knowledge of carrier products, pricing and personnel.
  • Maintain knowledge of agency procedures.

Group and Individual Benefits Account Coordinator

The Group and Individual Benefits Account Coordinator reports to the Vice President of Dansig. This position supports the daily functions of the Benefits Division of Dansig.

Scope of Interaction

Interaction with all agency associates, clients, prospective clients and insurance carrier representatives.

Responsibilities and Duties
  • Quoting of group and individual benefits for internal and external account executives.
  • Scrutiny of group and individual benefits applications for completeness.
  • Follow up with employers and individuals as necessary to process a complete application.
  • Pre-Screening of group and individual health to Carriers.
  • Proposal development for agents, including comparison spreadsheets.
  • Processing of employer enrollment, and individual applications, address changes, etc., on daily basis to our carriers and any appropriate data entry into our System.
  • Preparing certificates and policy booklets on new groups for delivery.
  • Customer service for benefit clients and participants.
  • Participation in carrier product training seminars.
  • Participation in continuing education opportunities and CISR designation.
  • Secure State of Illinois Producer License for Life/ Health and Accident.
    Perform other duties as assigned.

Personal Lines Account Executive/CSR

The Personal Lines Customer Service Representative reports to Vice President of Operations. This position is largely responsible for assisting Account Executives with client accounts including all aspects of customer service and marketing.

Scope of Interaction

Interaction with all agency associates, clients, prospective clients and insurance carrier representatives.

Responsibilities and Duties
  • Provide customer service to customers via phone call, e-mail and other written correspondence in addition to in-person meetings as necessary.
  • Review current coverages with customers and agents recommending changes in coverage, product or carrier as deemed necessary.
  • Actively solicit increases in coverage or rounding out accounts through sales to customers at every service contact.
  • Actively seek referrals from current customer base to solicit for new business prospects.
  • Process and review renewals for personal lines accounts as assigned utilizing the following reports as necessary: Insurance carrier expiration reports, Agency Management (TAM) reports.
  • Review, process and invoice policies and endorsements ensuring accuracy.
  • Review and process policy change requests initiated by customer or agent.
  • Resolve customer questions regarding coverage and billing.
  • Maintain a suspense system to follow up on outstanding issues, correspondence, reports and follow up on overdue and suspense items.
  • Follow agency workflows and procedures.
  • Follow agency service standards.
  • Document Agency Management system with client changes, updates and activities as performed.
  • Maintain a working knowledge of carrier products, pricing and personnel.
